1. Information We Collect
We collect your email address when you create an account and publicly available blockchain data (wallet addresses, positions, trade history) that you choose to view within the app. We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your email is used to authenticate your account and send security-related notifications. Wallet addresses you enter are used to display publicly available portfolio data from the Hyperliquid blockchain. App engagement activity is used to calculate points, tier status, and quest progress within the app.
3. Data Storage
Account data (email, username, points, referral records) is stored in Supabase, a cloud database service. Market and portfolio data is fetched in real-time from the Hyperliquid API and is not stored on our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the Hyperliquid API to retrieve publicly available market and portfolio data — see hyperliquid.xyz for their data practices. Authentication is powered by Supabase; see supabase.com/privacy. Product analytics and crash diagnostics are provided by PostHog (US region, posthog.com); we send anonymous usage events (screen views, feature interactions, errors) and a randomly-generated device ID to PostHog. We do not send your email, wallet address, or wallet activity to PostHog. We do not use advertising networks.
5. Push Notifications
If you opt in to push notifications, we collect and store a unique device push token issued by your operating system to deliver notifications to your device. Push tokens are processed through Expo Push Service, which routes notifications via Apple Push Notification service (iOS) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android). Notifications you receive are limited to public on-chain market events (e.g. tracked whale activity, tier promotions, daily quests, referral signups). You can revoke this permission at any time from system settings.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Perpy offers an optional auto-renewing subscription (Perpy Pro). All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat (see revenuecat.com/privacy) to manage subscription state: RevenueCat receives an app-scoped user identifier and purchase metadata from Apple (product identifier, purchase and renewal timestamps, price and currency). We store your current subscription status (active plan and expiry date) in our database to unlock Pro features across your devices.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account and associated personal data, or export of your data in a machine-readable format. To exercise these rights, contact us via the email provided in the app. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal identifiers (email, username) are removed within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated statistical data may be retained indefinitely.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Perpy after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
